We are at the point where the buiders are finished their job.  Now comes OUR turn...roofing, insulating, sheetrocking...boy, my husband is going to be busy!  ;o)

Little Beauty!

Here is a little beauty that I photographed late this fall.  She was just about the sweetest little thing ever!  (click on the images to see them a little bigger!)

The bathroom is going ot be on the left on this picture and a storage closet to the right - between the two will be a hall leading into the house...behind the bathroom and storage closet will be another closet.

This Week's Featured Portraits

I thought I'd begin the showcases with my own two!  You know how you have a vision in mind and you have the right outfits, and a gorgeous fall day, and a couple of cute subjects?  And, then your children have other ideas about how the session should go?  My poor kids - I'm afraid they'll forever dislike cameras!  I was pleasantly surprised to find a few gems!  Here are a few of my favorites from this day:

Progress

Its been a couple of weeks since I last posted.  We are making progress though.  The electricity has been moved from the house to the studio.  Our breezeway roof has been literally cut off!  Here is what the exterior looks like now:

This view shows where one of the shooting areas will be - the large set of windows in the center.  To the right of that is where the bathroom will be.

And this last area will probably be my office area.  I'll have a better idea when the rest of the walls are up.  The fun part is - its mine! So, I can change my  mind as often as I want!

Upstairs!

Here we go - the walls are starting to go up.  This week the electricity should be switched from the house to the outer wall of the studio/garage.  After that is finished they can complete the walls and work on the roof.

Even More Progress!

It is amazing how much work can get done in one day - here is what the garage (which actually looks like a garage now!) looks like today.
